SWEET TAKES RICHMOND POLE

Richmond, VA…….Brad Sweet of Grass Valley, Calif. will start on the pole for tonight’s “Rotondo Weirich Showdown” USAC National Sprint race at Richmond International Raceway after posting a qualifying speed of 134.929 mph during today’s qualifying at the ¾-mile paved oval. Sweet and his Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Beast/Speedway/Mopar will be joined on the front by Darren Hagen for the 60-lap contest.
