USAC Honda .25 Midget MidWest Dirt Series Announced

 USAC Honda .25 Midget MidWest Two-Race Dirt Series Announced
  (Indianapolis – January 24, 2014) – The USAC Honda .25 Drivers will return to Eldora during the annual USAC 4 Crown Weekend with Silver Crown, Sprints and Midgets.  The first of the two-race series will be held at Cerro Gordo Speedway, Cerro Gordo, IL on July 19 – 20 and will culminate on September 20 – 21 at the Ohio based ‘Little E Speedway.    The top 3 winners will be recognized at the USAC Developmental "Showcase of Champions" banquet in December.  The series will be just two events and a driver must run both to be eligible for awards.  All Pre-Registered Drivers for the Eldora event will receive admission to Saturday nights 4 Crown Main event. Tentative plans are for preregistered drivers to be incorporated into Opening Ceremonies.  Tentatively plans may also include a Friday night practice.   “We are excited to add another new venue for our .25 drivers,”  said Kyle McCain, .25 Director.  “The Cerro Gordo Speedway has now sanctioned with USAC for 2014.  Quarter midgets run on the   dirt oval every Friday night.
