WINDOM LEADS EASTERN STORM TO SUSQUEHANNA FINALE TONIGHT!

Chris Windom vaulted into the Eastern Storm presented by DMI point standings lead with a single race remaining tonight at Susquehanna Speedway – the same track that the Canton, Illinois native won at in 2016.

Seven drivers remain mathematically eligible to take the title: Windom, Kevin Thomas, Jr., Brady Bacon, Thomas Meseraull, Chase Stockon, Justin Grant and Jarett Andretti.  The maximum number of points a single driver can earn in a night is 84 with 6 going to the ProSource Fast Qualifier, 8 going to the heat winner and 70 slated for the feature winner.

The top-four in Eastern Storm points heading into Sunday’s finale have won each of the four races held this week.  Susquehanna winner Windom leads by 14 over Williams Grove victor Thomas, Jr. of Cullman, Ala.  Broken Arrow, Okla. driver Bacon, an opening night winner at Grandview on Tuesday, is 28 out of the lead.  Fourth-place Meseraull of San Jose, Calif. won Wednesday’s round at Lincoln.

Pit gates for tonight’s Eastern Storm decider at Susquehanna open at 4:30pm.  Grandstands open at 5pm with cars set to get on track at 6:15pm.
