TOP-3 SEPARATED BY 8 POINTS IN ISW TITLE RACE ENTERING PUTNAMVILLE
Speedway, Indiana (July 30, 2020)………The top-three of Justin Grant, Chase Stockon and Brady Bacon are separated by a mere 8 points with three races remaining of the 33rd annual NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week series.
Grant (Ione, Calif.) rose to the lead with his victory Wednesday night at the Terre Haute Action Track and enters tonight’s ISW fifth round at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind. with an eight-point lead over Chase Stockon (Fort Branch, Ind.) and Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.), the 2016 ISW champ, who had led the ISW points entering Terre Haute. All three drivers led laps during the Terre Haute feature.
Defending ISW champ C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.), who’s won twice during ISW at Kokomo and Lawrenceburg, is fourth in points (-20) while 2011 & 18 ISW titlist Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) is fifth (-35). Gas City ISW opening night winner Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.) resides sixth in the standings (-46).
Tickets and pit passes will be available at the gate Thursday at Lincoln Park Speedway. Adult general admission tickets for Lincoln Park are $25 while kids age 10 & under are free. Pit passes are $30 apiece.
All online ticket purchasers will be allowed an early 3:30pm (local time) entry into the grandstand. Front gate entry is open to all spectators at 4:30pm. Hot laps begin at 6:30pm with racing to immediately follow.
