CARDEY HOPING TO EXTEND CRA STREAK SATURDAY AT THE PAS

CARDEY HOPING TO EXTEND CRA STREAK SATURDAY AT THE PAS

David Cardey of Riverside, Calif. is on a three-race winning streak at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway where the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint cars resume their 2010 campaign this Saturday night.

A fourth straight victory would match a Perris feat achieved only by Tony Jones two years ago.

Cardey currently resides eighth in the series standings, led by Mike Spencer, who also has a 2010 victory at the PAS.

Other 2010 USAC/CRA feature winners this season include Greg Bragg and Damion Gardner. Cardey is now tied for fifth on the all-time USAC/CRA win list with seven career wins.

Spencer’s lead over Danny Sheridan entering Saturday’s race stands at 51 points.

The USAC Western Ford Focus and Western Young Guns Series also complement Saturday’s racing program at the southern California oval.
