Speedway, Indiana (July 25, 2025)………United States Auto Club Sprint Car officials have issued a suspension and fine to driver Jadon Rogers and the Amati Racing No. 66 due to failing a tire test during competition on July 4, 2025, at Putnamville, Indiana’s Lincoln Park Speedway.
A sample taken on the night of the event failed to meet the benchmark after testing by an independent laboratory.
Due to this being their first violation, both Rogers and Amati Racing have been disqualified from the July 4 event, fined $3,175 ($2500 fine + $675 for his original 13th place result) and lost the 44 points gained by both the driver and entrant during the July 4 event.
Furthermore, Rogers and Amati Racing are suspended from USAC National Sprint Car competition for the next six contested events.
This penalty is in compliance with Section 309.C, which states:
Any solvents or chemicals applied in any way to a tire that alter the chemical makeup of the compound or have the effect of altering tire durometer or construction is prohibited. Any tire can be confiscated at any time. Penalties from a tire found to deviate from the original factory benchmark specifications are as follows:
- First offense for entrant/driver: 6-race suspension from National Sprint Car competition, loss of points and forfeiture of purse money for that event, plus a $2,500.00 fine.
