HAYDEN SUSPENDED FROM USAC COMPETITION

Speedway, Indiana (July 9, 2023)………The United States Auto Club Competition Committee has reviewed on-track actions taken by series competitor Brian Hayden on a last lap incident during the July 3 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship event at Putnamville, Indiana’s Lincoln Park Speedway.

Those intentional actions fall under Rule 10.32, and with the severity taken into account, Hayden is subject to the following penalties:

1. Prohibited from competition as a driver for the remainder of the calendar year of 2023 with all USAC-sanctioned racing series.

2. Probation through the calendar year of 2023 at all USAC-sanctioned racing events under any other capacity.

These penalties are imposed immediately.
