24 DATES SET ON 2024 USAC CRA SPRINT CAR SCHEDULE
Speedway, Indiana (January 6, 2024)………The calendar for the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC CRA Sprint Car racing season has been set with 24 events on the docket in the states of California and Arizona in 2024.
The series, featuring new title sponsorship from Avanti, will open and close at its most oft-visited venue, southern California’s Perris Auto Speedway where USAC CRA will travel to on 10 occasions throughout the 2024 campaign. The season begins at Perris on February 24, and makes monthly trips to throughout the year on March 16, April 27, May 25 (Salute to Indy), June 22, July 13, August 17 and September 21.
The season at Perris is highlighted by the return of the Oval Nationals, which is back on the schedule after a one-year hiatus for the 27th running of the event for two-straight nights on November 8-9.
A similar slate is on the plate for Somerton, Arizona’s Cocopah Speedway, which makes an early-season USAC CRA schedule appearance on March 2. Late in the year, USAC CRA is back at Cocopah on November 1-2 for the 57th edition of the Western World Championships.
A pair of additional Arizona state races have been scheduled for Mohave Valley Raceway, which hosts the 410 c.i. sprint cars twice on April 6 and again on October 12.
The newly christened Dirt Track at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif. will feature its most substantial USAC CRA schedule yet, featuring three dates at the track this season on June 8, August 31 and September 28.
For the first time since 2022, Nipomo, California’s Santa Maria Raceway is back on the USAC CRA docket which has four dates at the track. A two-night affair at Santa Maria will take place on July 5-6, before the series travels back to the track on August 10 and September 7.
Furthermore, two slots remain listed as “To Be Announced” for May 4 and October 19.
Brody Roa (Garden Grove, Calif.) enters the 2024 season as the reigning USAC CRA Sprint Car driving champion. Tom & Christy Dunkel / BR Performance come in as the most recent entrant titlists with the series.
