4 FOCUS CHAMPS TO BE CROWNED THIS WEEKEND

4 FOCUS CHAMPS TO BE CROWNED THIS WEEKEND AS RACES UNFOLD IN CALIFORNIA, SOUTH & NORTH CAROLINA & INDIANA; BOWMAN TAKES IRIWINDALE BUT MIILLE RETAINS LEAD

Champions will be crowned this weekend in USAC's 2008 Midwest, Indiana, Carolina and California Dirt Ford Focus Series. A total of five Focus events are on tap.

Bradley Riethmeyer of Hutto, Texas leads the Carolina Series into its final races at Dillon, S.C. Saturday and Concord, N.C. Sunday. Saturday's race is at Dillon Motor Speedway and Sunday's is at Concord Motorsports Park.

Kyle Hamilton of Danville, Ind. leads both the Midwest and Indiana series into this weekend's racing festival at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway where the Midwest/Indiana series combine for qualifying and heats on Saturday and a 30-lap feature on Sunday.

Alex Bowman of Tucson, Ariz. has a two-point lead over Walt Johnson entering Saturday's California Dirt finale at the Ventura (Calif.) Raceway, where Charlie Butcher will also lead the USAC Junior Focuses into competition.

Ian Miille of Pleasanton, Calif. is atop the California Pavement standings after last Saturday's race at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, Calif. Miille finished second to Bowman, who led all 35 laps to beat fast qualifier Miille, Brendan Langlois, Jessica Brunelli and Rick Hendrix.
