LIGUORI #1 IN MONTPELIER FOCUS FEATURE

Montpelier, IN……..Joe Liguori of Tampa, Fla. earned his second consecutive USAC Midwest Ford Focus race victory Saturday night, scoring a pulsating last-lap win in the 20-lapper at Montpelier Motor Speedway. Liguori passed Toby Alfrey on the last lap to put his Pit Stop Bar-B-Q & Grill Beast in victory lane. Teammate John heydenreioch finished second ahead of Alfrey, with Jake Blackhurst and Eric Rankine rounding out the “top-five.” Rankine led the first six laps of the race.
