LAMB, JESSOP CLAIM HPD TITLES AT HICKORY, LVMS;

DYLAN NOBILE JOINS LAMB & JESSOP AS HPD CHAMPIONS

Chris Lamb of Colfax, N.C. and Cody Jessop of Madera, Calif. scored USAC HPD Midget race victories on the final night of the 2015 season. Both earned 2015 championships, along with Dylan Nobile of Clovis, Calif., who is the 2015 Western pavement champ, despite not competing in Saturday’s finale at Las Vegas, Nev.

Lamb led the final 22 laps of Saturday’s 35-lap Eastern finale at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway to beat Jake Nelke, Andrew Layser, Matt Lundstrom and Sam Hatfield. It’s the second Eastern title for Lamb, who also won the 2013 championship.

Jessop solidified his Western HPD overall crown Saturday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, leading the last 17 laps to win the 30-lapper over Jeff Kelley, Toni Breidinger, Dezel West and Annie Breidinger. The title is Jessop’s first under USAC sanction.
