ANNIE BREIDINGER GETS 1ST WIN IN “GERHARDT CLASSIC”
Madera, CA……..Annie Breidinger of Hillsborough, Calif. ended up with her first USAC feature victory in Saturday night’s “Gerhardt Classic” 30-lap USAC Western HPD Midget race at Madera Speedway. She claimed the win after original race winner Cody Jessop’s car was disqualified for failing post-race technical inspection. The fourth-place car of Tom Paterson also failed the post-race inspection, leaving Michael Daniels, Toni Breidinger, Jesse Love IV and Blake Brannon to complete the “top-five” in the official rundown. The official adjusted lap leaders saw four race leaders, with Annie officially leading the final eight laps after passing Daniels on lap 23.
