USAC MICRO SPRINT NEWS - AUG. 19-21 WEEKEND

USAC MICRO SPRINT REVIEW FROM PLAZA PARK

In USAC Micro Sprint action last weekend at Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park in Visalia, California, it was all Eli Bookout in the Junior Sprints while T.J. Smith found himself once again in victory lane in the non-wing 600s.  Restricted 600 top honors went to point leader Joey Ancona, who picked up yet another victory this year. Super 600 also saw another point leader take his machine to victory lane with Jake Hagopian continuing his winning ways.

USAC MICRO SPRINT REVIEW FROM DIXON SPEEDWAY

Last weekend, Dixon (Calif.) Speedway played host to the USAC Micro Sprints. 

In the Junior Sprint class, it was Alex Silliker who picked up the first victory of his young career. Colton Huelsmann took the checkered flag in the Restricted class.  Blake McGourty outraced the competition to collect the Non-Win 600 win while the Super 600s were owned Michael Wasina, Jr.

Dixon Speedway will be the place to be when the series returns to the track on Saturday, August 27th for the next thrilling round of the 2016 season.

USAC MICRO SPRINTS RETURN TO SANTA MARIA RACEWAY

Santa Maria (Calif.) Raceway is the place for intense USAC Micro Sprint competition this Saturday night, August 20 for the return of the Super 600s.  The Super 600s were the class on tap for the first ever event and it was a memorable show.

The Super 600 class had 13 cars check into the pits for the first event, which went all 20 laps green-to-checkered.  Tyler Smith was the victor on a beautiful, cool evening.

NEW YORK’S LIMEROCK WELCOMES USAC MICRO SPRINTS FOR 13TH ROUND

Caledonia’s New York’s Limerock Speedway hosted a makeup date last weekend after a race earlier in the season was called due to mother nature.

In the 125 class, Jack Lathan picked up where he left off last weekend to take the victory.  In Non-Wing 600 action, Alex Trautman visited victory lane. Trevor Years continued to work his way up the USAC Super 600 standings, collecting another victory.

The next round at Limerock Speedway returns Saturday, August 20.
