THOMAS GRABS KERN COUNTY HPD VICTORY
Bakersfield, CA……..Tristin Thomas of Burlington, Wash. led all but one lap of Friday night’s 20-lap USAC Western HPD Midget feature at the Dirt Track at Kern County Raceway Park. He passed Ashley Hazelton on lap two and led the rest of the way to beat David Prickett, Terry Nichols, Annie Breidinger and Joel Rayborne. USAC point leader Jesse Love IV was sixth. The series continues Saturday night at Ventura Raceway.
