USAC MICRO SPRINT NEWS - SEPT. 22, 2016

DIXON SPEEDWAY HOSTS USAC MICRO SPRINTS SATURDAY

The 2016 USAC Micro Sprint series season continues this Saturday night, September 24 at Dixon (Calif.) Speedway.  Though the season is winding down, the action stays busy as drivers and teams in each division gun for those valuable points down the final stretch of the season.

Classes in action this weekend include the Super 600s, non-wing 600s, 250s, Restricted and Junior Sprints. Dixon Speedway was dark last week, but is ready to get back into the swing of things with its ever-present, spectacular side-by-side racing.

Other tracks on the USAC Micro schedule include Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park, Limerock Speedway, Bakersfield Speedway and Santa Maria Raceway.  In addition to Dixon, Plaza Park and Limerock will also be in action this week.

 

SUPER 600 NATIONALS WEEKEND AT PLAZA PARK

This Friday and Saturday night, September 23 and 24, the “Super 600 Nationals” come to Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park in Visalia, Calif. as the Super 600s, Non-Wing 600s, Restricted and Junior Sprints all prepare for this weekend’s big event.

Last week’s Plaza Park winners were Gauge Garcia in Jr. Sprints, Justyne Hamblin in the non-wing 600s, Keith Day, Jr. in the Restricted 600 class and T.J. Smith in the Super 600 division.
