DMA SPEED2 MIDGETS

Saturday, September 19: Bear Ridge Speedway – Bradford, Vermont

The final USAC DMA SpeeD2 Midget event of the season arrives this Saturday night, September 19, at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt.

The format will feature double points for all competitors.  Time trials will determine the starting line-up for the first 10-lap segment with the fast qualifier on the pole for that race.  The second segment will be a 15-lap race with an inverted start based on the finish of the first segment.  The third segment will be a 20-lap race with an inverted start based on the finish of the second segment.

Points will be accumulated throughout all three segments with the lowest point total being the winner.  For example, a driver finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the three races will receive six points.  If another driver finishes 1st, 1st and 2nd, that individual will receive four points and will finish ahead of the driver with six points in the final rundown.

Seth Carlson (Stafford, Conn.), winner of the last two and four overall this season at Bear Ridge, leads the standings by a 76-point margin over Justin Phillips (West Suffield, Conn.), Brandon Piastka (West Suffield, Conn.), Manny Dias (Danielson, Conn.) and reigning champ Will Hull (Plainfield, Mass.), three times a Bear Ridge victor in 2020.

Pits open at 3pm ET, front gates at 4pm and racing at 6pm.  General admission tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10 for Seniors age 62-plus and $2 for kids age 11 and under.  Pit passes are $15 for members and $20 for on-members.  Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, C.A.
