SYRACUSE, NY - It's a special sponsorship program which will see the Empire
Super Sprints' logo being donned on the Billy Pauch, Jr.-driven
#36 sprint car competing on the 8th Annual USAC Eastern Storm
Tour. The joint effort between Gene Franckowiak, Brian Thomas and Bruce Engler
will be aided by backing from Specialty Rigging of Reading, Pennsylvania.

Billy Pauch, Jr., the second-generation star from Milford, New Jersey, will make a
full assault on the AMSOIL National Sprint Car regulars at Grandview, Lincoln, New
Egypt, Port Royal and Susquehanna Speedways from June 3-8.  His sharp, wingless
F5 Twister chassis machine will be supplied by Franckowiak with Thomas and Engler
providing the powerplant and hauler.

The car will see unique sponsorship from the Empire Super Sprints
(ESS), the Syracuse, New York-based 360 sprint car organization
celebrating their 31st consecutive season in 2014.  The well-known club will
be showcasing events in three states and two Canadian provinces this season,
with over 30 events scheduled.

“To have our logo on the side of Billy Pauch, Jr’s wingless sprinter for the
Eastern Storm is an honor for us,” said ESS Vice President Dean Reynolds.
“USAC has such a storied tradition and the annual swing through the
Northeast gets more popular each year.”

Pauch, Jr. will also see some action on the ESS tour. While details on which
events he will attend will be announced at a later date, he is possibly
eyeing some of the ESS CNY Speedweek dates and also the Brett Deyo-promoted
event at Thunder Mtn Speedway, ESS’ first-ever visit there.

“I have to thank Gene, Brian and Bruce so much for all their help with the
USAC program.  I just love running the wingless sprints and I can not wait
to be a part of the Eastern Storm swing at some top dirt tracks,”
noted the 26 year old driver. “I will also look to run a few ESS events
which will be cool.  They have a neat club with some of the best drivers, and
going up to New York will be fun.”

Specialty Rigging from Reading, Pennsylvania will be a major force in the effort, not
only in sponsoring Pauch’s Eastern Storm effort but also as a sponsor on
Franckowiak’s 410 sprint car team driven by Dave Ely. You will see Specialty
Rigging’s logo placed on the ESS website for their contributions to all
involved, as well.

“I am just having fun helping out some really good people in our sport.  I
think Billy is one of the best young talents around, and he will have some
good finishes with the wingless car in the USAC races.” said Franckowiak.
“Specialty Rigging has been great in helping, and I am also happy to put
the ESS logo on our car as well.  We ran with ESS during their Speedweek
with Dave (Ely) last year and just had a ball.  They really have fun with
what they are doing up there in NY.”

The fun and excitement of USAC wingless sprint cars kicks off on Tuesday,
June 3 at Grandview, with subsequent dates at Lincoln (June 4), New Egypt (June 5),
Port Royal (June 7), and Susquehanna (June 8). For more information about on the
