WIGAL WINS STREICHER MEMORIAL, MASSINGILL WINS AT LIMA TOO
Lima, Ohio (June 16, 2023)………Zach Wigal and Bryce Massingill run one-two in USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget series points, and on Friday night at Ohio’s Limaland Motorsports Park, each picked up a feature victory.
Opening the night was the rescheduled Mike Streicher Memorial, which had been rained out on May 12. Wigal (Belpre, Ohio) led all 20 laps from the pole en route to the victory, his second of the season.
In the second end of the doubleheader, fourth starting Bryce Massingill (Troy, Ohio) chased down Matt Lux (Manilla, Ind.) for the lead with seven laps remaining to score his third victory in his last four series starts.
