USAC SILVER CROWN SET FOR TWO 2021 DATES AT LUCAS OIL RACEWAY

Brownsburg, Indiana (September 30, 2020)……..Two dates have been pinned for the 2021 USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series season at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Ind. on two of the biggest racing weekends of the year - the Carb Night Classic on Friday night, May 28, and the inaugural Hoosier Classic on Saturday night, August 14.

Featuring four great racing series on one big night, the Carb Night Classic will host a full slate of racing featuring the USAC Silver Crown Cars gunning for $10,000-to-win and Midgets competing for $5,000-to-win.  The Indianapolis 500 weekend event will also feature the Road to Indy series with the Cooper Tires USF2000 series taking the track first followed by Indy Pro 2000.

The inaugural Hoosier Classic will be held on August 13-14, 2021 at Lucas Oil Raceway.  The USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series will take on the .686-mile paved oval for a $12,000-to-win prize on Saturday night, August 14.  The weekend will feature three races for open wheel fans at Lucas Oil Raceway, held in conjunction with Brickyard 400 weekend.

Friday night, August 13, will kick off with Sprint Cars chasing $10,000-to-win, followed by Midgets competing for another $10,000-to-win on Saturday night, August 14 in a doubleheader with the Silver Crown cars.

Just down the road at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, a new NTT INDYCAR SERIES race will also be held on Saturday, August 14 before the NASCAR Cup Series takes the road course for the first time ever on Sunday, August 15.
