USAC Ignite Midget racing explodes on four fronts this week, with races at Las Vegas, Nev., Plymouth, Ind., Elma, Wash. and Stockton, Calif. impacting point standings in the Midwest, Western and Northwestern series.

The events at Plymouth are part of track’s “Plymouth Palooza” and will feature the USAC Mopar National Midgets and the Midwest Ignite Midgets on both dirt and paved surfaces. Those races are Friday and Saturday at Plymouth Motor Speedway. Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Bullring hosts a Tuesday night program, while Saturday races are slated at Grays Harbor Raceway in Washington and Stockton 99 Speedway.

Cooper Clouse of Ohio City, Ohio and Parker Colston of Lake Elsinore, Calif. captured feature events in USAC Ignite Midget action last week. Clouse scored back-to-back wins at Morris, Ill. and Springport, Mich. Saturday and Sunday, while Colston won the Western race at Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedway.

Clouse led all 25 laps at Grundy County Speedway Saturday to beat fast qualifier Gage Walker, Sam McGhee, Ryan Krachun and Tyler Shullick, then came back Sunday and led all 25 laps to beat Walker, Krachun, Shullick and Davey Hamilton Jr. Colston led all 25 laps at Santa Maria Speedway to beat Austin Blair, Jet Davison, Henry Steele and Christine Breckenridge.
