LAS VEGAS BULLRING HOSTS FOCUSES FRIDAY-SATURDAY


DAVISON ANNEXES BAKERSFIELD FOCUS FEATURE

Jet Davison is the early leader in the 2012 USAC Western Focus Series which visits the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring this weekend with a pair of feature events on tap. Races are slated both Friday and Saturday at the 3/8-mile paved oval.


Davison, of Running Springs, Calif., won Saturday night’s 20-lap series opener at Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway. Davison trailed Cole Custer for the first 16 laps until Custer’s engine expired, then led the final four laps for the victory over Parker Colston, Michael Steele, Bradley Morris and Cody Elliott.


Four different  drivers won USAC Focus races at LVMS in 2011, including two-time winner Garrett Peterson, Nick Drake, Brodie Kostecki and lady driver Jessica Clark.
