FOCUSES, YOUNG GUNS RETURN TO KIL-KARE JULY 15

FOCUSES, YOUNG GUNS RETURN TO KIL-KARE JULY 15

USAC’s Midwest Ford Focus and Focus Young Guns Series return to Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio July 15. Ohio driver Ross Rankine currently leads the series standing entering tonight’s event at the Bryant Heating & Cooling Indianapolis Speedrome.

Joe Liguori, who went on to claim his second consecutive Midwest title last year, won the 2010 Ford Focus race at Kil-Kare, a track which has hosted a dozen USAC races since 1957 when George Amick and A.J. Foyt scored Midget wins.

“We are excited to get back to Kil-Kare,” says James Spink, USAC Developmental Race Director. “The track has such a great history and A.J. Foyt’s victory at Xenia was only the second of his storied USAC career.”
