USAC EASTERN SPEED2 MIDGETS OPEN SATURDAY AT ORANGE COUNTY

Rougemont, North Carolina (June 12, 2020)………The USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget season gets underway this Saturday, June 13, at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, North Carolina.

The series has made seven previous visits to the 3/8-mile paved oval with three-time series champion Chris Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) capturing the past two victories in 2018 and 2019.  Jessica Bean (Farmland, Ind.), the three-time and defending series champ, won there in 2017.

The event will also feature Carolina Pro Late Models, Chargers, Pure Stocks, Mod4 and Outlaw FWD.

The track will not be able to host spectators in-person for the event.  However, the night’s racing events will be streamed live for free on the Facebook pages for both www.Race22.com and the Carolina Pro Late Models.

In addition to the Facebook live stream, WKRX 96.7 Roxboro will be carrying live radio coverage of the event.  If you are not in the Roxboro area, you can also listen for free on the TuneIn website or mobile app at https://tunein.com/radio/WKRX-967-s30382/.

The back ticket window opens at Noon ET, with rotating practice running from 2:30pm – 4:45pm.  Qualifying begins at 5:40pm with racing slated for a 7pm start.
