Blake Miller of Yorba Linda, Calif. won Saturday night’s 30-lap AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint race at Santa Maria. He was followed at the chekered flag by Troy Rutherford, Bud Kaeding, series point leader Mike Spencer and fast qualifier Rip Williams.

Rickie Gaunt led the first seven laps and Miller led the rest of the way in his Roy Miller Freight Lines/Sander Engineering Bullet/Mopar. Spencer emerged from the race with an 80 point lead over Danny Sheridan, who finished ninth Saturday.
