USAC RAPID TIRE EAST COAST SPRINT CARS

This Friday night, October 9, Big Diamond Speedway in Pottsville, Pa. welcomes the USAC Rapid Tire Service East Coast Sprint Cars for night one of the Diamond Nationals, which presents Twin 20 feature events for the series.

Double features are a first for the series.  Back in July, Steven Drevicki captured the second of his series leading six victories this season.  He holds a commanding 102-point lead as he aims to close out a third consecutive series title in Friday’s season finales.

Small Block Modifieds, Late Models and Street Stocks join in the event, which begins with gates opening at 5:00pm ET and hot laps at 7pm, followed by racing.  General admission tickets are $25, seniors $23, students age 11-16 $10 and kids age 10 and under free.  Active Military with valid ID are free.  Pit passes are $30 for Big Diamond members and $40 for non-members.

USAC WEST COAST SPRINT CARS

USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will make their debut at Placerville Speedway. Located on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, the quarter-mile’s non-point “Prospector Pandemonium” also features the USAC Western States and BCRA Midgets along with the BCRA Midget Lites.

Pit Gates will open at noon PT, the Drivers Meeting is set for 4:30pm, followed by cars on the track.

USAC WESTERN STATES MIDGETS

The “mighty midgets” of the USAC Western States and Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) will battle at Placerville Speedway this Saturday, October 10th.

The “Prospector Pandemonium” is co-sanctioned special event / non-point race that will serve as a tune-up for the prestigious “Hangtown 100” in November.

The action-packed card will also feature the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars, and wingless BCRA Midget Lites.

EASTERN SPEED2 MIDGETS

The USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midgets make their first ever appearance at Lonesome Pine Raceway in Coeburn, Va. this Saturday night, October 10.

Jessica Bean (Farmland, Ind.) won the only previous series event held in the state of Virginia this season, taking one of her three victories this year in August at Spotsylvania.  She won the most recent race as well on Sept. 19 in Dillon, S.C. and leads the series standings coming in by just 22 points over Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) with Chris Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) just 25 points behind in 3rd.

Bean is pursuing a fourth consecutive series championship while Lamb is gunning four his fourth since 2013.

Pits open at 10am ET with the first round of practice for the midgets scheduled for 1:15pm.  The drivers meeting will take place at 3:15pm with front gates opening at 3:30pm.  Racing starts at 6pm.  Pure 4, Pure Street, Mod Street, Mod 4 and Limited Late Models are also on the card.  Adult general admission tickets are $10 and children 12 and under are free.

ENGLER IMRA SPEED2 MIDGETS

One last go for the USAC Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midgets brings the series to The Bullring at Rock Island County Fairgrounds in East Moline, Ill. this Sunday, October 11.

The last visit to East Moline, Ill. back in August of this year produced a victory for Brent Burrows of Lewistown, Ill., one of his two wins with the series.

Sunday’s race is a non-points, special event.  Bryan Stanfill (Bakersfield, Calif.), a four-time winner this year, has already wrapped up his first series title.

The “last call” for 2020 is part of Harvest Havoc at East Moline.  Grandstands open at Noon CT with hot laps at 2pm.  Also on the docket are Mod Lites, Hobby Stocks, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sport Mods, Sport Compacts and vintage Late Models.  General admission is $12, ages 9-15 are $8 with ages 8 and under free.  Seniors are $10 and reserved tickets are $15.  Pit passes are $30 for adults and $15 for kids.
