Columbus Race Update

We are very excited about the Jegs Crown Midget Supernationals this weekend in Columbus, Ohio featuring the USAC Mopar National Midgets, Ford Focus and our new .25 Midget series. Several teams have helped with promotional opportunities throughout the area today to generate publicity for this special program. On Friday, a planned Media Day has attracted significant local attention with area reporters scheduled for rides in a Ford Focus Midget on the track.

While Saturday's weather is calling for a beautiful spring day here in the midwest for great racing action, concern is rising over weather conditions for the scheduled practice on Friday (tomorrow). Current weather forecasts calls for 50% showers throughout the day. With this being the first scheduled midwest pavement race of the season, we are making every attempt to keep the practice time available if weather conditions permit.

We will offer an update at 10:00 am on Friday morning via this email system, as well as through USACRACING.com. Please check the website for the latest news regarding the event schedule. An internet broadcast on USACRACING.com Live Pit Pass is scheduled trackside for 6:00 pm tomorrow for a preview of the racing weekend action, and we will follow all the racing action on Saturday and Sunday through our streaming broadcast beginning Saturday morning with our .25 series.
