HAMILTON, DAILY, POSEY EARN FOCUS WINS

NEW CASTLE, IRWINDALE, CONCORD & VENTURA HOST FOCUSES
USAC Ford Focus racing this week takes four forms, from Indiana to California to North Carolina. The Indiana series resumes at Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind. Wednesday with Kyle Hamilton leading the standings. Bradley Riethmeyer leads the Carolina Series into Wednesday night's race at Concord (N.C.) Motorsports Park and Alex Bowman is atop the California Pavement standings entering Saturday night's race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. Walt Johnson and Charlie Butcher lead the California Dirt and Junior Ford Focuses respectively to Ventura (Calif.) Raceway Thursday night.
Hamilton, of Danville, Ind., Marc Daily of Fairmount, Ind. and Kipp Posey of Lehi, Utah were winners in Ford Focus action last week.
Hamilton passed Tyler Cottongim on the sixth lap at Anderson and led the final 25 laps of Wednesday's Midwest/Indiana feature to beat Craig Haack, Alison MacLeod, Jordan Pennington and Steven Mathews.
Daily led all 40 laps at Concord Wednesday to beat Riethmeyer, Michael Ward, Michael Mohelski and Scott Hunter.
Posey was the last of three race leaders at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah Saturday night, pacing the final five circuits to beat James Powell, Tim Savage, Chuck Groat and Jim Waters. Savage and Powell led the first 20 laps of the 25-lap race.
